Khalid Hasan, BComm, CA is our talented and unflappable Director of Taxation Services. As the innovative leader of our strong tax group, Khalid is always looking for opportunities to introduce leading-edge tax strategies and is willing to aggressively use them wherever appropriate. He has an extensive understanding of tax minimization tactics for owner-managers and professionals.
Khalid developed a comprehensive understanding of Canadian taxation and the business and tax issues facing successful owner-managers through a variety of relevant work experiences. His resume includes senior tax management positions at two of the big four public accounting firms, over four years as the VP of Finance of a group of car dealerships, and two years as a corporate tax auditor with the Ministry of Finance.
Khalid's education and professional development has covered all of the CICA in-depth tax courses, its Advanced Tax Planning course for Owner-Managers and an honours degree in accounting from the University of Ottawa.
