For example, after each busy season we make a point of soliciting input on how to make our operation run even more smoothly next year. Everyone is encouraged to advance their careers. When someone is ready for something new or more responsibility we do our best to make it available to him/her. No one here is territorial about clients, staff or projects. We encourage everyone to engage in as much client contact as possible. McLarty & Co places a huge emphasis on hiring well-educated, independent people at all levels of the company. For example, all of our administrative staff have university degrees in business or multiple college diplomas.
Of course all of this starts at the top. The directors meet regularly to make decisions on a consensus basis. They never miss an opportunity to educate staff about how to provide Value Beyond Service®, for example, by offering clients helpful advice at every meeting. The directors are role models in how to work as a team, how to treat everyone with respect and how to be effective client relationship managers. Everyone at McLarty & Co is important.
