FULL-TIME AND SEASONAL ASSURANCE SENIORS
At McLarty & Co assurance seniors can expect to work independently, develop long-term business relationships with clients and prepare corporate tax returns - regardless of whether their status is seasonal or full-time.
We have an opening for a senior assurance person: someone who can plan and execute audits and reviews and prepare corporate tax returns. Before elaborating on the specific requirements we would like to share something that happened recently. We met with one of our assurance seniors to discuss his performance (qualitative and quantitative) as well as his PD plan, compensation and targets for the upcoming year. Partway through the meeting we told him how pleased we were to have him on our assurance team. He responded by telling us why both he and his wife are happy that he decided to join McLarty & Co. Here's what he said:
- It's the little things that make the difference, like Doug chatting with him on a regular basis
- Expressing the need for a desk lamp and seeing it on his desk the next day
- Being able to talk to directors whenever he needs to
- Having reasonable budgets to work with
- Having reasonable deadlines to work to
- An enjoyable atmosphere in the office
Assurance Seniors manage engagements, identify and analyze client needs and provide clients with remedies, options and advice. In addition to providing traditional assurance and tax services, individuals in these roles leverage the accounting processes to gather information that can be of significant value for business planning. The ability to develop ongoing, proactive, positive relations with clients is essential to these positions.

Or, if you are currently under-utilized but well-qualified, a part-time or seasonal position may be the way to make the best use of your skills and qualifications.
